Establishment and implementation of the Human Rights & Labor Policy
SK hynix has established, disclosed and implemented the ‘Human Rights & Labor Policy’ to respect the rights of members and business stakeholders. The policy includes operational guidelines such as the general principles of respect for human rights, as well as the prohibition of forced labor, prohibition of child labor, work of minors, work hours, wages, non-discrimination, freedom of association, responsible procurement of minerals, and protection of stakeholder information.

Human rights Training
SK hynix regularly conducts human rights training for its employees to prevent human rights violations and foster a culture of protecting employee rights. To spread a culture of human rights management throughout the supply chain, the company also provides human rights training to employees in the procurement department and regularly conducts human rights training for its suppliers.

Grievance Reporting Channel
SK hynix has different grievance reporting channels freely accessible to internal and external stakeholders so that the company actively engages in resolving grievances and complaints. All the reports filed are completely treated as confidential and the reporter's identity is protected. Also, all the reporters are protected by the company from penalties induced by grievance reporting.

Submitted grievances are processed as follows:
Grievance Procedure
- Step 1 Receipt of Grievance
A grievance is filed by an internal or external stakeholder and acknowledgement of receipt of grievance is provided.
- Step 2 Review of Grievance
The type and specifics of the grievance are reviewed to assign the case to the relevant team for grievance handling.
- Step 3 Grievance Consultation
A grievance consultation is conducted to relieve psychological stress and seek a solution based on the circumstances.
- Step 4 Start of Investigation
If an official investigation is deemed necessary to check facts in detail, the case is transferred to the dedicated team for objective investigation.
- Step 5 End of Investigation
Once the investigation is closed after fact-checking, follow-up measures are taken and the reporter is informed of the result.
