UFS is the next generation flash storage for mobile application. It brings higher data transfer speed, larger capacity and higher energy efficiency. It is a compact solution fit for mobile devices.
SK Hynix has introduced world’s first 3D NAND based UFS2.1, equipped with an in-house controller and firmware.
UFS2.1 provides 2 times faster sequential read speed, and 3 times faster random read speed compared to eMMC5.1
